No matter what is done to you or how you are treated, you can overcome...be proud, stand tall, and know that you are a good person. Those that bully you or mistreat you are just jealous that you have everything they lack. Never lay down for those that think they are better than you. A person can be good no matter their living arrangements or their income level. Sometimes the poorest people actually are the richest...life is what you make it and you can be anything you want to be. Keep on keeping on!
While the movie focuses more on the characters and less on the setting it reminded me that we did have some good innocent fun in the 70s. The actors are wonderful in their roles, I knew those characters when I was young. I like to think that David Bowie would be honored to have his music be a part of this story. It is a perfect fit. Watch this movie and laugh, and then cry tears of joy. It's a keeper.
Woah! I've never seen a movie try so hard to be hip, naive and wholesome at the same time. Every SJW subject is covered in this movie, and I'm pretty sure that's the only reason it was made. Because the storyline is terrible. I couldn't watch 10 minutes of it.
I really like Gaffigan and was hoping this show would be awesome! Unfortunately, it is just boring. It's a typical modern show, trying to play up to all the modern stereotypes. Nothing to see here but pedantic tropes.
This was wonderful, a little quirky, sweet, sad and sooooo good. I loved the kids they were great, Christmas just kept getting better. The adults were also good but to me this was all about the kids. This movie made me laugh and cry and it can make you proud you peed your pants. LOL
Every now and then you come across a movie that grabs a hold of your heart and pulls you right in...this is one of those films! Within the first few moments, I was in it completely. From the 70s nostalgia to the great performances of Jim Gaffigan, Viola Davis and Allison Janney, I was transported by this quirky tale. And the endearing grin of McKenna Grace will have you cheering for her from the start. I watch a lot of different types of movies and most of them are mediocre at best. What a treat Troop Zero was to find. Will surely watch this again and again!
Quirky, heartfelt movie about the importance of friendship, especially when it's needed most when growing up different and unwanted. Beautifully crafted characters as well as spot on depictions of small town Georgia life in the late 1970s.
Troop Zero allows you to enter into a world of emotions. Each one of us has experienced situations that either make us stronger or begins our weakness. These little girls encourage us to be better not only for ourselves but to others as well. The world needs a group like Troop Zero.
